President Donald Trump’s daughter Tiffany Trump is registered to vote in New York as well as Pennsylvania, according to Heat Street.
Trump strategy guru Steve Bannon is also registered to vote in two states: New York and Florida.
The discovery that Tiffany Trump, the daughter of the president and second wife Marla Maples, is registered to vote in two states comes as Donald Trump announced in a pair of tweets that he will seek an extensive investigation into vote fraud by unregistered voters and “those registered to vote in two states.”
The act of registering to vote in two or states is not illegal in and of itself.
“The illegality only occurs if one votes in two places, not if you’re registered in both,” Philadelphia deputy election commissioner told Heat Street.
Vogt noted that he sees a lot of college students who are “registered both where they live and where they go to school.”

Tiffany Trump graduated from Penn in May with a major in sociology.
She voted in New York City in the November 2016 election. She did not vote in Pennsylvania, records show.
Steve Bannon, Trump’s newly-minted chief strategist and senior counselor, is also registered to vote in two states.
Bannon is a resident of Sarasota County, Florida and is actively registered to vote with the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections office, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
The Trump strategist is also registered to vote in New York City where he lists a residence on West 40th Street with the New York State Board of Elections, according to New York magazine.
Bannon voted in New York City in the November 2016 election — by absentee ballot.
