Payroll processor ADP announced Wednesday that employers added 241,000 jobs to the U.S. economy in March, an early signal that the current monthly streak of job growth may extend to 90 months.

Reality outpaced experts’ predictions of a more modest 210,000 jobs number from ADP. Experts are estimating the official jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which will be released Friday, will show growth of around 185,000 additional jobs, USA Today reports.

Jobs grew by 313,000 in February, soaring over the expected 200,000 in job growth for that month and surprising economists. Experts now say that mild weather throughout most of the U.S. in February led to a spike in seasonal construction hires.

The highest growth came in the midsized sector of firms with 50 to 499 employees, creating 127,000 jobs. Large firms with more than 500 employees created 67,000 new jobs, while small firms with less than 50 created 47,000 new jobs.
