TIME claimed on Monday that Fox News’ Sean Hannity is facing “conservative criticism” over his real estate dealings, but managed to only cite one such conservative critic.

According to a Monday report in The Guardian, Hannity has invested millions of dollars in real estate using shell companies to keep the transactions private. TIME insisted that Hannity is facing backlash from conservatives, but the only person quoted in their story is New York Times columnist Bret Stephens.

“The revelation brought some criticism from conservative corners for Hannity,” TIME wrote.

They went on to quote something Stephens said on MSNBC Monday morning about Hannity’s real estate dealings.

“Hannity has said over and over again he is not a journalist; he proves it every single day,” Stephens said. “The question for Fox News is whether they want to consider themselves a journalistic institution and continue to employ as an anchor a guy who is clearly better at real estate than reporting.”

No other conservatives are quoted criticizing Hannity in the TIME article.
