MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle listed the economic gains the country has made since President Donald Trump took office, as she marked the one-year anniversary of the launch of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Ruhle began the segment reminding viewers that the Mueller investigation may be a year old, but it’s not the only thing going on in America.

“As we’ve said, a year ago this week, Robert Mueller launched his special investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election,” she said.

“But what happened economically for Americans in their day-to-day lives in the past year? It’s more than just Russia and collusion. We’ve got to live our lives.”

“Americans have made gains with this president,” she continued.

“Nearly 3 million jobs have been created since Trump took office. And there are a record 6.3 million job openings that employers are ready to fill now.” (RELATED: MSNBC Anchor Admits She Hasn’t Heard A Clear Message From Democrats)

Ruhle also cited the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics saying that the unemployment rate is only 3.9 percent, having gone under 4 percent for the first time since 2000.

She concluded the monologue by saying, “so while President Trump deserves a lot of credit for the economic gains that we’re seeing and the positive business sentiment in this country, we need to talk more about what needs to be done for Americans.”

While the Russia investigation has led to indictments and has been on the news non-stop for a full calendar year, the economy has grown significantly during that same time period, although that generally isn’t covered to the same extent.
