A Wisconsin mother of two appeared in court Friday at a bail hearing facing charges of hacking social media to spread Islamic State propaganda and recruit new members.

Waheba Issa Dais, a permanent U.S. resident, was arrested Wednesday after Facebook’s internal security office notified the FBI in January that someone was hacking various accounts on Facebook and using them to promote ISIS values, according to court documents.

The 42-year-old woman, who faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted, would post on hacked Facebook and Twitter accounts instructions on how to build bombs and weapons and urged others to join ISIS. (RELATED: UK Teen Found Guilty Of Plotting ISIS Attacks In London)

Dais was “promoting ISIS’s agenda, facilitating recruitment for ISIS, and maintaining a virtual library of instructions on how to make bombs, poison, and suicide vests,” according to federal prosecutors.

Government records reveal that Dais came to the U.S. in 1992 and is married to a U.S. citizen. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband and two children who are believed to be minors.
