President Donald Trump attacked Democrats Saturday morning over the separation of children and parents at the southern border, claiming they “are good at only three things, High Taxes, High Crime and Obstruction.”

During an unprecedented impromptu press conference on the North lawn Friday, the president explained several times that he did not like the policy that forced parents and children to be separated, and that if the Democrats would only come to the negotiating table, that policy could be ended “tonight.” He also restated his initial position that any immigration plan which did not include funding for the wall would not be signed.

In a follow-up tweet apparently aimed at encouraging his base to elect more Republicans in November, Trump cheered his supporters and the numbers so far. (RELATED: Trump Is Asked About North Korea Meeting — He NUKES Question Into Another Dimension)
