Co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Mika Brzezinski said Democrats are not to blame for the illegal immigration crisis at the southern border and accused the Trump administration of being cruel.
“We have a lot of people using a lot of different terminology and I think it’s all fair,” Brzezinski said Monday. “But in order not to lose at this game in the — in the category of rhetoric and in the category of overshooting the runway out of anger, I think we can say they’re being held and they’re being held against their will. Her comments come just three days after her co-host Joe Scarborough compared the administration’s processing of illegal immigrants to the mass murder of Jews in Nazi Germany.
“I know they’re being marched away to showers, are being told they are,” Scarborough said. “Just like the Nazis had said that they were taking people to the showers and then they never came back.”
