President Donald Trump reportedly threw some candy at German Chancellor Angela Merkel during the G7 Summit earlier this month and cracked quite a joke.

A number of reports prior to the summit focused on Trump’s allegedly fraught relationships with some world leaders, notably Merkel.

Toward the end of the summit, Merkel and other leaders were urging Trump to sign the joint communiqué.

Eurasia Group President Ian Bremmer told CBS News that Trump ended up agreeing to sign the paper — but he didn’t go out quietly. Trump allegedly stood up, threw several Starbursts in Merkel’s direction, and told her, “Don’t say I never give you anything.”

“Trump was sitting there with his arms crossed, clearly not liking the fact that he felt like they were ganging up on him. He eventually agreed; he said OK, he’ll sign it,” Bremmer said. “At that point, he stood up, he put his hand in his pocket — his suit jacket pocket — and he took two Starburst candies out, threw them on the table, and said to Merkel: ‘Here, Angela. Don’t say I never give you anything.'”
