Democrats repeatedly interrupted Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan during his questioning of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein at a House Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday.

Democratic Reps. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas and Eric Swalwell of California interrupted Jordan multiple times during Thursday’s hearing, calling the House Freedom Caucus co-founder out for his statements about Rosenstein’s leadership and his questioning of what he perceives are missteps on the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) part.

Swalwell first stopped Jordan roughly one minute into his allotted time to make statements or ask questions of the deputy attorney general.

“Mr. Chairman, can we allow the witness to answer?” Swalwell asked House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte. “Mr. Chairman, point of order. We can go to Mr. Jordan’s press conference and hear from him. But we came here to hear from the witnesses.”

WATCH:

Jordan asked Rosenstein why he is withholding information regarding Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuses, including text messages between FBI special agent Peter Strzok and FBI counsel Lisa Page, whose text messages show they had an anti-Trump bias and wanted to stop Trump from winning the election, among other matters. (RELATED: Read The Strzok-Page Texts In Full)

Jackson Lee then interrupted Jordan toward the end of his time.

“Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman,” Jackson Lee said multiple times before Goodlatte recognized her.

Goodlatte told Jackson Lee that a parliamentary inquiry is not appropriate, to which she replied, “point of order.” Goodlatte again shot her down.

Members made their way to the House floor shortly after Jordan’s time to vote on a bill that demanded the DOJ to hand over sensitive documents that House conservatives have asked for since as early as July 2017.
