Amazon announced its annual shopping event, Prime Day, will kick off July 16 at 3 p.m. ET, finishing on July 17.

The day is expanding from 30 hours in 2017 to 36 hours for prime members to shop more than 1 million deals worldwide.

“More than 100 million paid Prime members around the world will find our best Prime Day celebration yet,” said Amazon CEO Worldwide Consumer Jeff Wilke.

This year, members can shop exclusive Prime Day Launches from hundreds of brands worldwide, as well as enjoy exclusive savings at Whole Foods Market. Prime members will also be able to experience surprise entertainment events unboxed from giant smile boxes in major cities: New York City, Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and Milan.

“Prime members will enjoy a day (and a half) of our best deals,” said Wilke.

Prime Day will feature double the deals on Amazon devices and apparently the biggest deals yet on Alexa-enabled products like Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablet, newest product Echo Show and more.

Deals are actually starting now, and every day leading up to Prime Day there will be exclusive deals and offers for Prime members. Anyone can join Prime and start a 30-day free trial to participate in Prime Day.

The best ways to shop on Prime day:

  • Watch a deal through the Amazon App to preview, track, and shop while at home or on-the-go.
  • Check Prime Day Sneak Peek on the Amazon App from July 9- 15 for a peek at deals.
  • Amazon Prime Credit Cards allows cardmembers to enjoy 5% back on all their Prime Day purchases with the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card or the Amazon Prime Store Card.
  • Ask Alexa to find the best Prime Day deals and even tracking purchases with Alexa. “Alexa, where’s my stuff?”
