President Donald Trump defended Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan after he was accused by two former Ohio State University wrestlers of allegedly failing to report that a team doctor was molesting them while Jordan was a wrestling coach.

“I don’t believe them at all. I believe him. Jim Jordan is one of the most outstanding people I’ve met since I’ve been in Washington. I believe him 100 percent. No question in my mind. I believe Jim Jordan 100 percent. He’s an outstanding man,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One after landing in Great Falls, Montana, for a campaign rally.

The comments come after it was reported that the two former wrestlers accusing Jordan of ignoring sexual misconduct over two decades ago have a history of bad business dealings, multiple lawsuits and harassment allegations. One accuser even served an 18-month prison sentence for fraud. (RELATED: Jim Jordan’s Accusers Have A Sketchy History, Raising Questions About Their ‘Authenticity’)

Jordan and his staff have continued to deny the allegations, saying he had never heard about any type of abuse while he was coaching the team.
