Police arrested a dozen protesters for blocking a Columbus, Ohio, street with a 32-foot tripod structure on Monday.

Protesters built the tripod by the corner of the Ohio Statehouse and blocked the street to the Columbus City Hall, according to Fox 8 Cleveland.

A woman dangled at the top of the structure in a harness with a sign that read, “ICE Ruins Lives Here,” while a man’s hands were duct taped to the logs to secure the base, reported The Columbus Dispatch.

Before protesters blocked the road and shouted “No borders,” demonstrators trespassed into the Columbus Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) office on the 47th floor and demanded ICE to be abolished.

“We must take these radical actions to be heard,” because “No one is helping us or listening,” organizer Ruben Herrera told the Columbus Dispatch. (RELATED: ABOLISH ICE’: Vandals Throw Brick Through Window Of GOP Office, Leave Graffiti Message)

Firefighters removed the woman from the harness and detached the man from the base. While firefighters were taking down the structure with chainsaws, protesters yelled, “We’re still fighting, take the wood” while banging drums.

Several were arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct while two were arrested after a fight broke when police were clearing the area, according to WOSU Public Media.
