Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas took another shot at FBI agent Peter Strzok on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday and called him a “serial liar.”

Gohmert said Strzok’s former lover, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, was much more forthcoming than Strzok in her congressional testimony and doubled down on his original attack. (RELATED: Louie Gohmert Says Obama Administration Stabbed Israel In The Back)

“[Page] was much more forthcoming than Peter Strzok. Some people got upset when I called [Strzok] out for being the scheming serial liar he is,” Gohmert said.

Gohmert described Page as more genuine and regretful of her actions than Strzok and said FBI lawyers continually muted her comments to keep her from answering certain questions.

“She’s a more a more contrite person. But make no mistake … she is a Democrat. She wanted [former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton] to win, and she did not want [President Donald] Trump to win,” he added. “And that’s been obvious. There were times the FBI lawyers would be reaching for the button to mute her comment and she would answer before they could mute her comment.”

Gohmert claimed Page has yet to contradict Strzok’s account of what occurred, but said she’s given Congress valuable insight and is making the intelligence community nervous.

“She has given us more insight into who was involved in what,” he concluded. “Of course, when I hear [former CIA Director John] Brennan or [former Director of National Intelligence James] Clapper either say the kind of things they’ve been saying recently, then it tells me wow, we must be getting close to them. Those guilty dogs are barking pretty loud. I think she’ll be a good witness.”
