“I have never heard the president issue a racial slur about anyone in the two-plus years I’ve worked alongside him without interruption,” Conway said during a Fox News interview. “I would further say that Omarosa, who I considered a colleague here and a friend for a very long time, a lot of us women put a shower together for her before she got married … she never pulled me aside and never said to me, ‘Hey, I heard the president say this.'”

Conway also explained that Omarosa said “no” when she was asked if she believed Trump is a racist shortly after she left the White House.

“It does seem ungrateful,” Conway added, noting that Trump was like a mentor to Omarosa.
