President Donald Trump’s campaign is seeking to bring former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman to arbitration for allegedly violating a nondisclosure agreement.

“Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Omarosa Manigault-Newman, with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign,” the campaign said in a Tuesday statement to The Washington Examiner.

“President Trump is well known for giving people opportunities to advance in their careers and lives over the decades, but wrong is wrong, and a direct violation of an agreement must be addressed and the violator must be held accountable,” the campaign continued.

The arbitration charge comes as Omarosa continues to selectively release tapes of her time on the campaign and inside the White House. The tapes include an conversation in which aides are discussing messaging strategy for an alleged tape that Trump used a derogatory term for black people, though the tape’s very existence is still in question.

A copy of the agreement shared with WEX between Omarosa and her time in the campaign reveals that she agreed not to release disparaging information about Trump.
