U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is responding a little too vaguely to an inquiry about whether she’s running for prez in 2020.

And anything but “no” is an absolute maybe bordering on a ‘hell yes.’

D.C.’s paparazzi photog Mark Wilkins caught up with Haley in Reagan airport Tuesday morning. Like most politicians, Haley had an entourage and didn’t stop to chit-chat.

She did however, pause long enough to tell Wilkins that she’s not focused on running for the highest office in the land at this moment in time.

“I’m just in survival mode right now,” she said.

Even so, some think she’s ripe for the Oval. In April, MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host and Trump hater Joe Scarborough said she’d beat President Trump if she ran. That same month, The Washington Post ran a bold opinion headline that read: “Nikki Haley is presidential material.” And in August, 2017, Vox had a “former senior official at the US Mission” declaring that Haley is playing a “long game.” The official remarked, “It seems like she’s positioning herself for a future run.”

As of April, 2017, Haley was saying she couldn’t imagine running for president.

And now? It’s “survival mode.”
