Omarosa Manigault Newman claimed that President Donald Trump told her to go after “The View” host Joy Behar when Newman appeared on the show in January 2017.

Newman made the comments Monday on ABC regarding her book “Unhinged.” She worked in the White House for the first year of the Trump presidency and made secret recordings of inside conversations for her book.

“So I have to say that, I was looking through the book and on page 213 there’s a whole thing about me,” Behar explained. “A couple of things struck me about it. Number one, he basically coached you before you came on the show last time.”

“He did,” Newman responded. “He was so upset because he said that you were constantly in his face and Melania’s face, that you invited her on your show to talk about her jewelry and then you —”

Behar replied that she didn’t invite Trump and explained that she was “booked” for the program.

“He had a whole story about y’all’s relationship,” Newman added.

“Yeah, he said that we used to be friends, which is not true,” the co-host replied. “I went to his wedding, but that’s because I knew somebody else. I was never friends with him.”

“He thought you were his friend,” Newman answered.

“And then I kissed his ass,” Behar added. “I don’t want that self-tanning on my lips, OK? I don’t kiss anybody’s ass. The last ass I kissed was my little baby when I gave birth. You kiss a baby’s butt. That’s the last ass I kissed.”

Behar continued, “But, so he told you — then Sarah Sanders came on.”

“And he was upset because he felt like you all steamrolled her and that she did not defend him tough enough on the show,” the former Trump staffer shared. “And he’s like, ‘why didn’t you do what Omarosa did, the way I told her to do it,’ because she kind of looked weak and he hates for anyone to look weak.”

Newman added, “He specifically told me to come after you, Joy.”

“Yeah, I know, because I’m not weak,” Behar exclaimed.

“But I’m shocked — I thought, he doesn’t watch it,” she added. “People say ‘how come he doesn’t go after you girls?’ I said, I don’t think he cares about us.”

“No, he’s watching,” the former staff shared. “Hi, Donald.” (waved at the camera)
