Donald Trump Jr. tweeted Thursday that he agrees with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who said she wishes she could wave a “magic wand” and return to days when the confirmation process for Supreme Court justice nominees was bipartisan.

The moderator at an event the George Washington University Law School asked Ginsburg Wednesday how she would compare the process of her own confirmation hearing to what she’s witnessing today with President Donald Trump’s nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.

“The way it was, was right. The way it is, is wrong,” she said, per CNS News.

“I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it go back to the way it — the way it was,” Ginsburg said.

She was confirmed to the court in 1993 with a 96 to 3 vote.

She also referenced Justice Antonin Scalia, whose vote was unanimous, stating that every “Democrat and every Republican voted for him. But that’s the way it should be instead of what it’s become — a highly partisan show. The Republicans move in lock step, so do the Democrats.”

Trump Jr. was happy to agree with her.

“I never thought I’d say this, but I agree with the notorious RBG! Dems take a hint and vote for Kavanaugh en masse!” he tweeted.
