The next time you get blasted during a game of Call of Duty, it could be your grandpa who just fragged you. And he may have had a hell of a time doing it.
In recent weeks, video gamers — particularly those who enjoy playing shooters — have been lambasted in the press, with journalists and even organizations like the National Rifle Association suggesting a link between digital violence and the real world.
Despite the bad press, gamers appear to have a new and unexpected convert in their ranks. A video recently posted to YouTube shows an elderly man playing (and apparently greatly enjoying) Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which both depict violence from a first-person perspective.
