The Dallas Cowboys won’t be bringing back troubled defensive end Greg Hardy.

The Cowboys didn’t offer Hardy a contract extension after a year filled with distractions, according to CBS Sports. Hardy has routinely failed to separate himself from constant problems on and off of the field.

The former Carolina Panthers star was charged and convicted of beating his girlfriend, but the charges were ultimately dropped when the victim failed to show up for the appeal. (RELATED: Judge Dismisses Domestic Assault Case Against Pro Bowler Greg Hardy)

The troubles for Hardy only continued after his domestic abuse case. He got into an altercation with a Cowboys’ coach during the season on the sidelines and had to be calmed down by teammates. (RELATED: Cowboys Star Gets Into Physical Altercation With Coach [VIDEO])

So far no teams have publicly expressed interesting in signing Hardy.
