Stacey Dash said that President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are the ones that are to blame for “politicizing” the terror attack in Orlando, not her.

On Monday, the 49-year-old actress and conservative commentator defended her response on social media following the shooting at a gay night club in Florida that left 49 people dead, to the Washington Examiner.

“I didn’t politicize this, the president did and Hillary Clinton did,” she said. “Nobody is messing with my Second Amendment, so my feeling is this: Had there been more people there that were able to carry guns — good guys — they could have stopped this guy.” (RELATED: Stacey Dash: Not Having An Abortion Saved My Life)

“They could have stopped him from killing anyone,” she added. “But no, there was no good guy there with a weapon. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.”

“This man was from Afghanistan … was on a watch list,” she continued. “He was a bad guy. The guns. How did he get the guns? By following gun laws. Doing stricter gun laws is not going to do it.”

On Sunday, once news broke about the shooting, Dash posted a series of tweets on her Twitter account addressed to the president, noting shooter Omar Mateen’s reported political leanings.
