Donald Trump has been in office for only 75 days, but he has already made a huge impact on job creation in the United States. The president centered his campaign on the major theme of “Buy American, Hire American,” and ever since he won, companies have followed his lead. Just this week, 500 factory jobs in Pennsylvania were saved from offshoring. In the week leading up to Trump’s inauguration, Amazon promised 100,000 new full-time jobs stateside.

Turns out that was just the beginning. On Thursday, the online retailing giant announced the creation of an additional 30,000 American jobs. These are part-time positions, as part of Amazon’s Virtual Customer Service program. Amazon has focused on this initiative in recent years to hire Americans who need flexibility in their work schedule. They have placed particular emphasis on offering opportunities to military wives, as well as college students and parents.

Publicity-wise, Amazon has been on a good run, at least from the pro-America perspective. They continue to stand up for Ivanka Trump and her products despite boycotts from the Left. Furthermore, on Tuesday, we reported that NFL games will stream live on Amazon Prime.
