A seminar by author and journalist Mike Cernovich was cancelled after death threats and hate messages were sent to the venue.

Cernovich told The Daily Caller over email, “The venue owners received death threats. They received over 30 and are receiving more as we speak.”

“My ‘Gorilla Mindset’ seminar is entirely apolitical. I don’t talk about any social issues. My attendees include people from all political viewpoints. The venue owners themselves received death threats, which is what is most disturbing. Threatening venue owners in an effort to silence people the left disagrees with is terrorism,” he told TheDC.

The event was scheduled to be held at Collective HQ in Los Angeles. Collective HQ didn’t responded to requests for comment.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, July 15, is a “Gorilla Mindset” seminar. Cernovich is author of the book “Gorilla Mindset.” (RELATED: The Mirror Top 10: Righty Journo Mike Cernovich)

Some topics to be discussed at the event include, “Self-talk and language patterns” and, “How metaphors embedded in language shape how you view yourself and the world,” the EventBrite page reads.

Cernovich may still hold the event, but is looking for a different venue.

He also said, “Yeah, media, lecture me more about your hurt feelings when I can’t even hold a seminar without death threats coming into to venue.”

Cernovich has faced criticism before for allegedly spreading fake news. He made headlines earlier this year when he exclusively broke news of Susan Rice unmasking the identity of Trump associates before other outlets did.
