The Amazon Echo is supposed to be on sale right now, but the sub-$100 price turned out to be so popular that the amazing speaker-cum-personal assistant is currently unavailable. (Then again, maybe they ran out because Amazon sent their entire inventory to various Whole Foods around the country).
Luckily, Amazon is now letting other electronics companies develop speakers with Alexa. Once such company is Eufy, who also makes a vacuum we really like. Eufy’s Alexa-enabled speaker is called the Eufy Genie, and it is more similar in size and sound quality to the Echo Dot than to the Echo itself. Today only, it is much cheaper than either Amazon device, as it is half off and therefore on sale for under $30.
Eufy Genie Smart Speaker With Amazon Alexa on sale for $29.70
As Daily Dealer readers know, I’ve long been a fan of Amazon’s Alexa products. They play music whenever I want to, tell me the score of the Yankees game when I’m not watching it, and so much more. On Sunday, I woke up groggily after fight night craving pizza. All it took was perambulating up from my bedroom to command Alexa “order Dominos” to get a pie delivered to my door. Now that’s convenience.
