The co-hosts of “The View” Thursday celebrated Omarosa Manigault Newman’s exit from the White House, mocking her earlier appearance on “Good Morning America.”

“Oh yeah, the world is waiting,” Behar joked.
Manigault Newman was the communications director at the White House Office of Public Liaison until she announced her resignation on Wednesday.
Sunny Hostin then claimed that she was nothing but a pariah in the African-American community, before Meghan McCain suggested that if people want to be in media and guest-host “The View” they should stick to media and stay out of politics.
“What’s fascinating to me about the Trump White House in general, is that traditionally in politics when you’re staffing for a principal one of the main things you want are people that are not going to be seen and not be heard and fade into the background,” McCain shared. “That’s what great campaigns and great presidents quite frankly do. I like working with people who don’t want to do book deals, that don’t want to guest co-host ‘The view.’ If you want to be in media, be in media. This new trend, where I feel like everybody in the White House wants to continue on the president’s legacy of reality television and continue to be famous and write books of such nature.”
“I think anyone can get on board with the idea of distinguishing if you want a public career versus you’re trying to do politics, don’t shop from the lot at ‘The Apprentice,'” Sarah Haines responded. “That’s where Omarosa made her name.”
Whoopi Goldberg then lit into the former “Apprentice” star and accused her of being just “nasty” to women.
“Well, look, you [Omarosa] said some stuff here that — you know, wasn’t very nice but, you know, that happens,” Goldberg explained. “And you mentioned that we would all be bowing down. I don’t know if we have that clip but you can look it up. She did say it. And so, you know, I hope you find something to do, O. I do, I do. And I hope that you find your people because maybe they’re looking for you. She’s just been so nasty to so many women and so many women of color, so many women of color, and I just, you know — never mind.”
