A Polish immigrant who has been stalking pop star Katy Perry on her tour is now in the process of being deported.

Thirty-seven-year-old Pawel Jurski has been found guilty on a number of charges, including felony aggravated stalking, misdemeanor loitering, and resisting arrest.

Jurski has attended Katy Perry concerts in Toronto, Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Chicago, and Michigan. He’s been caught breaching a security area to join Perry backstage during a concert, following her to a steakhouse for dinner and even hiding in a stairwell at a hotel she was staying at.

The 33-year-old Katy Perry, whose real name is Katheryn Hudson, has been one of the most politically vocal celebrities in recent years.

Following the Manchester Arena bombing last May, Perry said that the best antidote in combating Islamic terrorism was “No barriers. No borders. We all just need to co-exist.”

I’m curious if she still feels that international borders are unnecessary. Maybe if we all had our own private security guards like Katy Perry, we could all reach her level of hospitality.
