Former Attorney General Eric holder told Rachel Maddow Wednesday on MSNBC that any of his three children “would make a better president than Donald Trump.”
Some have speculated that Holder will make a run at the White house in 2020. “Would you make a better president [than Trump]?” Maddow asked.
“I think any one of my kids would make a better president than Donald Trump,” Holder responded. “But, you know, I think there are any number of people who would be a better president than the person we now have in the White House, who has … broken through those norms, conducted himself in a way that’s inconsistent with what’s best about this nation, labeled people in very inappropriate ways, used inappropriate terms when talking about countries, turning his back on our immigrant heritage.”
“Yeah, there are any number of people I think would be a better president than Donald Trump,” he continued.

Holder, who is working the Democratic Redistricting Committee, said he will make a decision at the end of the year regarding a potential presidential run.
