The 2018 Minnesota state tournament hockey hair team video has hit the web, and it’s just as outstanding as you’d expect it to be.
Hockey and great hair go together like peanut butter and jelly. I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever seen a hockey player with bad hair. It’s probably as rare as a unicorn sighting these days.
It’s also become a cultural phenomenon in Minnesota. It started out as kind of a joke, and now the young kids take it super seriously. Having great hair in the Minnesota state hockey tournament is probably more important to some of these kids than going to college. I can’t fault them, and this video is proof why.
Like I said, it’s another year of great hockey hair. My only MAJOR problem with this video is that the winner is a girl. Are you kidding me? She already has a super unfair advantage when it comes to hair. The state tournament hair is all about the guys and their flow. It’s not about girls with long hair. I’m just not sure how you could ever justify putting a woman first. Seems a bit too bold.
Anyways, now that we’ve got that sorted out, take a moment to remember ESPN’s great documentary “Minneflowta.”
P.S.: Minnesota high school hockey is legit insane. It’s absolutely worth checking out if you ever get a chance. You’re not really going to see anything else like it when it comes to high school sports.
