The “American Idol” reboot on ABC struggled again Sunday, hitting an all-time low in ratings for the reality series.

According to The Wrap Monday, the singing competition scored a 1.3 rating/5 share in the age demographic of 18-49 in preliminary numbers from Nielsen, with 6.3 million viewers.

This time “Idol” was up against the CBS broadcast of the 53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday, which won the night with a 2.1 rating/8 share in the coveted 18-49 demographic and 12 million viewers.

Week to week, the reboot has struggled against NBC’s similar reality competition series “The Voice.”

Sunday’s low ratings was the worst the ABC series has had since it launched in March. The 1.3 rating in the key demographic was also the lowest rating the series has ever had, including the low it scored during its run on the Fox network.

Despite all that, the singing competition overall has given the network its best numbers in the two-hour slot on Sunday night from 8 p.m .- 10 p.m in total viewership in the last four years.
