CNN brought James Comey on air for a town hall on Wednesday night, but the audience questions seemed to give the former FBI director a pass.

According to the Media Research Center’s NewsBusters, the questions from students, faculty, and staff at the College of William and Mary — Comey’s alma mater — were stacked in favor of Comey.

Eight questions asked by the audience were anti-Trump while just four were anti-Comey.

Audience members asked if Comey believes Trump is mentally fit for office, what would happen if the “pee tapes” involving Trump and Russian prostitutes were real, if Russian organized crime money has been laundered through Trump’s businesses, and more.

Luckily, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper gave Comey a harder time than the audience from his alma mater did. When Comey denied being a leaker, Cooper grilled him about the release of his memos to his friend, who later gave them to the press. (RELATED: James Comey Denies Being A Leaker)
