A source familiar with Anthony Scaramucci’s thinking told The Daily Caller Thursday that there will, in fact, not be a network show hosted by the former White House communications director and Stormy Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti.

TheDC’s source maintained that at this time, no such show is in the works, shooting down an earlier report from The New York Times.

The Times originally claimed Thursday that television agent Jay Sures pitched MSNBC and CNN on a Crossfire type of show to be hosted by Scaramucci and Avenatti, who carry vastly opposing stances on the Trump administration. (RELATED: Michael Avenatti Says He Could Gain Two More Clients Who Got Payments From Trump)

Avenatti has been increasingly outspoken against the Trump administration and POTUS’ personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, in recent weeks.

Avenatti himself tweeted Thursday that he has no “interest in television” at the moment, despite appearing on television nearly 150 times in the last 10 weeks. He stopped short of officially shooting down The Times’ report. (RELATED: Avenatti Does 147 Interview In 10 Weeks)

Scaramucci was ousted from his position in the White House after The New Yorker published a scathing piece, in which he referred to former White House advisor Steve Bannon in vulgar terms.
