MSNBC host Joy Reid reportedly promoted a 9/11 conspiracy movie in an old blog post.

The movie, “Loose Change” suggests that the U.S. government was complicit in planning the 9/11 attacks.

BuzzFeed News reported Wednesday, “A March 22, 2006 post to her weblog, Reidblog, archived by the Wayback Machine and titled ‘The official story’ links to ‘Loose Change 9/11,’ a viral 80-minute web video originally released in 2005. ‘Loose Change,’ which was produced in part by Infowars’ Alex Jones, alleged that the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center were in fact planned by the American government.”

The blog post reads:

“I might have posted this before, but there’s an updated version of a documentary now called ‘Loose Change 9/11.’ The fundamental question is: do you believe the official story of 9/11? If you do, great. If you don’t, then everything that happened after that is called into serious question. Even if you’re agnostic, or you tend to believe that al-Qaida attacked the World Trade Center and Pentagon and that the government had no warning such a thing could happen, it’s worth taking a second look. Here’s the link.”

Reid made headlines last month after she alleged that old homophobic blog posts of hers were placed there by a hacker. That turned out to be a very dubious claim.

Other posts were critical of Islam and transgender people, which contradicts her current progressive image. (RELATED: Joy Reid Wasn’t Just Homophobic — Old Tweets Show Her Openly Using Anti-Transgender Slurs Too)

Reid later apologized, but she didn’t exactly say that she wrote them.

“Frankly I couldn’t imagine where they’d came from and whose voice that was. In the months since, I spent a lot of times trying to make sense of the posts,” she said. “I hired cyber security experts to see if somebody had manipulated my words or former blog and the reality is they have not been able to prove it. But here’s what I know. I genuinely do not believe I wrote those hateful things because they are completely alien to me.” (RELATED: Joy Reid Apologizes — But Still Says She Doesn’t Think She Wrote Anti-Gay Blog Posts)
