President Trump gave a speech at a North Dakota rally on Wednesday, speaking to a spirited crowd on a wide range of topics — but the crowd really amped up when he started talking about border security.
Trump spent the better part of last week managing media outrage over the border detainment policy for illegal immigrants. In the wake of that outrage, a movement has started calling for the abolishment of the immigration force I.C.E.
Speaking about the movement, Trump said, “Just days ago, a brave border agent was shot multiple times while protecting our border. Every day, border agents are keeping drugs, crime and gangs from entering our country. We are going to get that wall built.”

Trump continued, “Politicians have called for a complete elimination of I.C.E. You know what would happen to parts of our country? It would be overrun with the worst criminal elements you have ever seen. Left-wing activists that are trying to block I.C.E. officers from doing their jobs and publicly posting their home addresses, putting these incredible people and their families in harm’s way.”
“These radical democratic protesters, they really want anarchy,” Trump hammered, “But the only response they will find from our government is very strong law and order.”
“We will not tolerate attacks on our law enforcement,” Trump continued, “We will protect our law enforcement like they protect us. These are our people and we have their backs.”
Trump concluded, “And what are we going to say in two and a half years for the next campaign? It’s going to be called, ‘Keep America great!'”
