Newly sworn in San Francisco Mayor London Breed took a pot shot at President Donald Trump as she spoke to her constituents on Wednesday.
“We are going to tell the president that here in San Francisco,” she said, “we don’t put children in cages, we put them in the classrooms.

Breed, San Francisco’s first black female mayor, shared some of her platform on Twitter within hours of her inauguration.
As a SFUSD graduate, I’m committed to building more teacher housing, prioritizing neighborhood schools, and creating opportunities for paid internships and job training. We’ll tell the President that in SF we don’t put children in cages; we put them in classrooms!
