CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin bashed CBS’ Jeff Glor’s interview with President Donald Trump before the full interview had even aired.
After watching a short excerpt in which Trump held Russian President Vladimir Putin responsible for election meddling, Toobin insisted that Glor was being too weak on Trump. Toobin repeatedly hammered Glor’s questions and the interview as a whole despite having only seen the excerpt.

“Jeff Glor, maybe you should ask him a tough question,” Toobin complained. “Oh my god. Is that the interview?”
“No,” anchor Wolf Blitzer explained. “That was just an excerpt. That was just an excerpt.”
Toobin continued to rail against the interview, declaring, “Oh my gosh. Oh, well, I guess that settles it. Why didn’t you ask him, why didn’t you say, if you believe that Russia did the meddling, why didn’t you say it when you were standing there?”
“Jeff Glor looked so terrified sitting there. I don’t know what he was doing,” he added.
Blitzer again explained that he was only viewing an excerpt, but Toobin was unsatisfied, stating, “I can only imagine what the rest of it is like.”
