Presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway blasted the Steele dossier during a Tuesday afternoon interview on the Fox News Channel.
Conway discussed the dossier in reference to current DOJ official Bruce Ohr, who played a central role in pushing the salacious dossier in the FBI during the 2016 investigation into the Trump campaign.
“We know that his wife was paid by fusion GPS, the research firm that started the ridiculous dossier, which — may I remind the audience — is a fancy French word for ‘a load of crap,'” she said.
The presidential counselor also noted that President Donald Trump is upset that special counsel Robert Mueller is not looking into these dealings and other offending matters.
Trump said in recent days he is likely to pull Ohr’s security clearance:
Will Bruce Ohr, whose family received big money for helping to create the phony, dirty and discredited Dossier, ever be fired from the Jeff Sessions “Justice” Department? A total joke!

“Bruce Ohr is a disgrace. I suspect I’ll be taking it away very quickly,” Trump said of the DOJ official. Ohr is now scheduled to appear before Congress to answer questions on August 28 about his role in pushing the dossier to the FBI.
