Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel trolled the Democratic National Committee on Thursday for their hacking “false alarm.”

The DNC revealed that they reported an attempted hack to the FBI on Wednesday, but later acknowledged that the “hack” was actually a test done by the Michigan Democratic Party.

The fake hack, which “mimicked several attributes of actual attacks on the Democratic party’s voter file,” was apparently not authorized by or communicated to the DNC by the Michigan Democrats.

McDaniel joked about the false flag on Twitter in a call-back to the Democrats’ presidential election loss in 2016. Her jab honed in on then-candidate Hillary Clinton’s failure to campaign in Michigan.

“I guess the Democrats still haven’t figured out how to talk to people in Michigan,” McDaniel wrote.
