One of the jurors in the trial of Paul Manafort called out the prosecution for making the case about Russian collusion during an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Shannon Bream Wednesday night.

“It was. Crazily enough, there were even tears. Two of the jurors — one of the females that did finally change her vote to guilty — would come in one day and say guilty and then the next day say, ‘I felt pressured. I want to change my vote back.’ So, there is a lot of back-and-forth,” juror Paula Duncan said. “Finally, once again, we got all those documents to come up with them in front of her and she changed her vote to guilty again.”

“Well, the charges were legitimate, but the prosecution try to make the case about the Russian collusion right from the beginning, and, of course, the judge shut them down. We did waste a bit of time with [those] shenanigans” she added.
Manafort faced 18 counts of tax evasion and bank fraud charges, but the jury told Judge T.S. Ellis III on Tuesday that it could not reach a consensus on 10 charges. He was convicted on five counts of tax fraud, one count of hiding foreign bank accounts and two counts of bank fraud. (RELATED: Paul Manafort Found Guilty On Eight Counts Of Tax And Bank Fraud)
Duncan continued, “I think we all went in there like we were supposed to and assumed that Mr. Manafort was innocent. We did due diligence. We applied the evidence, our notes, the witnesses, and we came up with the guilty verdicts on the eight counts.”
