Presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway called out CNN on Thursday for a false report about Michael Cohen and the 2016 Trump Tower meeting with the Russians.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo accused the president of lying about whether or not he knew his lawyer was paying off women over alleged affairs when Conway brought up CNN’s own lies. (RELATED: CNN Still Hasn’t Corrected Report Claiming Trump Knew About Trump Tower Meeting)
“You know what a lie is?” Conway asked. “That on July 27 you guys came out with this big report, nobody’s retracting it yet, three big bylines.”
Conway was referring to a CNN report citing “sources” that claimed former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen was prepared to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that Trump had advance knowledge of the Trump Tower meeting.
Cohen’s lawyer Lanny Davis debunked the report on CNN Wednesday, explaining that Cohen has no information about when Trump learned of the meeting. CNN has yet to issue a correction or retraction on the report.
“Let me put it another way, do you think the president is telling the truth?” Cuomo said, refusing to acknowledge the false report.
