President Trump criticized Democrats for their stance on immigration, referencing Mollie Tibbetts’ murder among many other examples during his speech in Ohio.

“When [the Democrats] found out that it was this horrible, illegal immigrant that viciously killed her, all of a sudden that story went down. They didn’t want to cover it the way it should have been covered. But what happened to Mollie was a disgrace, and our hearts go out” he added. “We mourn for Mollie’s family.”
Trump also referenced an elderly woman in New York who was beaten to death by an illegal immigrant and another illegal immigrant in Philadelphia who raped a child after being released from prison even though ICE asked for them to keep him in custody. “Democrat immigration policies are destroying innocent lives and spilling very innocent blood,” Trump concluded. “We believe that any party that puts criminal aliens before American citizens should be voted out of office, not into office.”
