The segment also included Fox News contributor Jessica Tarlov. They were discussing Nike’s decision to feature Kaepernick in their newest ad that was released on Monday.  (RELATED: Athletes Celebrate Nike’s Campaign Featuring Colin Kaepernick)

“There is a lot more to what Colin Kaepernick has done to drawing attention to racial injustice in this country. That is what this is about and why Nike has him,” she said.

“He didn’t draw attention to the social justice causes. He drew attention to himself, because that is all anybody is talking about,” Watters began.

He continued. “Last year I think he went 1-11, and he was going to get cut. And that’s why you started kneeling, and the fake news media made him into a martyr. He was a one-trick pony, he couldn’t read a defense and he’s not that great of a quarterback.”

“Well they figured out he’s a running quarterback,” Hannity chimed in.
