“Morning Joe’s” political panel said Wednesday President Donald Trump should feel insulted by claims in Bob Woodward’s new book “Fear” about how White House advisers feel about him.

“You know, Rudy Giuliani will huff and puff, but the bottom line is, Giuliani believes like everybody else that Donald Trump is too stupid, or too just mentally scattered or maybe … just unable to keep up with Robert Mueller and he’ll commit perjury,” Scarborough said Wednesday. (RELATED: Joe Scarborough Attacks Rudy Giuliani’s Mental Health And Asks If He Has Dementia)

“It’s almost like his lawyers are thinking a guy from Queens can’t keep up with Robert Mueller,” he said.

Scarborough said the people working for Trump know he’s stupid and claimed he would be personally insulted if he were president.

“They know. And so they don’t, just like everybody else around him, they all think he’s dumb, they all think he’s stupid, they all say he’s an idiot. They all think he’s … And I’d be really insulted if I was the president and people thought that about me,” Scarborough added.

MSNBC analyst John Heilemann said Trump’s team may think he is a “pathological liar” who would commit perjury if he were to sit down with Bob Mueller.

“The other thing they could think, is that in addition to or separate from — that he’s a pathological liar and that he will lie, regardless of what his mental state is,” Heilemann said. “So he’ll lie to avoid telling the truth. Or he doesn’t even know what the truth is.”

“He’s lost track of reality one way or the other. Some combination of those things are clearly what his lawyer think,” Heilemann concluded.
