Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh pointed out that the New York Times could not corroborate the second allegation of sexual misconduct levied against him — despite the New Yorker’s decision to green-light it — in an interview with Fox News host Martha MacCallum on Monday night.

“The women I knew in college and the men I knew in college say it is inconceivable that I could have done such a thing. And the New York Times reported that just last week this person making the accusation was calling other classmates saying she was not sure that I had done this. “I’m not going to comment on the New Yorker’s journalistic practices.
