Folks at Union Station in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday told The Daily Caller News Foundation what they thought of the assault accusations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
One woman thought he was guilty and believes that everyone should believe female survivors. “I think it’s deeply disturbing we even [have to ask if the allegations are true] because women have been trivialized for so long that we’re still saying we shouldn’t believe them,” she said. A total of 10 people were interviewed, including 6 women and 4 men. The majority thought it was unfair for someone’s reputation and possible future to be ruined over accusations that are nearly impossible to prove decades later. But almost everyone believed there should be an investigation into all the facts of the matter.
Students at George Washington University discussed the Kavanaugh controversy previously with TheDCNF.
