White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders questioned the tactics of women accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of decades-old sexual assault, in a Thursday morning interview on NBC’s “Today” show.

“I don’t question the stories, but I certainly question the tactics, that these individuals were more than willing to give interviews to the Washington Post, to the New Yorker but refuse to sit down with the Senate Judiciary Committee,” Sanders said.

“To me that is problematic and certainly one of the big frustrations that we’ve seen in this entire process, and I think that’s why today is so important, because you won’t only hear from Dr. Ford but also from Brett Kavanaugh, and it’s a very important part of this process.”

Kavanaugh will now testify Thursday morning before the Senate Judiciary Committee after his accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. Ford alleges that Kavanaugh assaulted her when they were both teenagers but she cannot remember key details. He will also likely be asked about two other women accusing him of sexual misconduct.
