Democrats Got Their FBI Investigation, Now They’re Saying It’s Not Enough

The FBI completed the investigation Democrats demanded, now they’ve moved the goalposts again. On today’s Daily Daily Caller Podcast, we discuss the complaints of leftists, both elected Democrats and media outlets like the Washington Post, after they’d gotten everything they wanted. This is about delay and nothing more.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has filed cloture on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, just like he said he would, meaning a vote to proceed to the nomination is set for Friday. Democrats immediately declared the exact FBI inquiry they demanded was not thorough enough.

The attorney representing Christine Blasey Ford complained she wasn’t interviewed by the FBI for the probe, even though she’d given hours of testimony and sworn statements to the Senate already. They did, however, talk to everything she listed as attending the party she claims she was assaulted at. None backed her story.

So we’re at the point where it’s time to put up or shut up. Democrats likely won’t do either, they’ll simply demand more.

Sen. Lindsey Graham caused a stir by quoting Bill Clinton’s hitman James Carville when he implied Paula Jones was essentially a prostitute. A crowd at the Atlantic Festival, an event put on by the Atlantic magazine, was upset and journalists who weren’t alive during the time the Clintons were smearing women he’d assaulted, were very upset. Is no one learning history, even recent history?

Most curious was how Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg didn’t seem to know about how the Clintons treated Bill’s accusers. It’s more likely he didn’t want to know at the time, he was on board with the Clinton agenda (still is). But this is the problem with giving kids fresh out of college, with no historical knowledge, media credentials and a desire to “make a difference” rather than report the news. We play the audio and dissect the problem.
