Time Magazine’s latest cover features Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who claims Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh groped her in high school during the 1980s.
The cover uses words and phrases from Ford’s testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee last Thursday to create a silhouette of her taking an oath.

The phrases used included “civic duty,” “terrified,” “I will never forget,” and “a terrible choice.”
Twitter users slammed Time for featuring Ford, noting that her claims remain uncorroborated.
I hope she will make a lasting impact when they arrest her for perjury.

Most in media have exposed themselves on this story to be exactly what many know them to be—agenda-driven, completely biased, champions of some and smear machines of others. If anyone’s eyes were closed before, they’re sure open now. https://t.co/y50Wm2JXlH

I’m a mom of 2 girls and an aunt to 7 nephews. Everyone has the right to be heard but I am terrified of what will ensue without Due Process. #BelieveEvidenceNotGender

A person who made a baseless accusation against a man, taught people how to cheat Polygraph tests and whose words cannot be backed up by any of the witnesses she named gets a Time cover.
Wow. The bar has been set REALLY low these past years, haven’t they?— KeenGaze (@KeenGaze) October 4, 2018
