Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois is making moves ahead of his matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday.

More specifically, he just made a sweet gesture for reporters at the Miami Herald which is almost certain to make him a media favorite in the southern city. (RELATED: The NFL Is Opening An Investigation Into The Dolphins For This Bizarre Reason)

Francois, who is originally from Miami and lives there during his offseason, sent the nicest note to the reporters at the Miami Herald ahead of Week 7, and included a delivery of Dunkin Donuts coffee straight to the newsroom.

“As a Dunkin’ franchise owner, I know everyone can use a boost from Dunkin’ to sweeten up your week. Thanks for all your coverage. Hope you enjoy and see you all Sunday,” Francois said in a handwritten letter.

Ricky Jean Francois, who played a season with the Patriots, owns 30 Dunkin Donuts franchises concentrated around the southeast coast.

“I sat down and talked to a few guys. Older guys told me I can’t play this game forever, so do something that can help you; the day you walk away from this game, you can have something to do with something that can take care of you and your family,” he explained in 2017. “So, Dunkin’ Donuts. Plus everyone drinks coffee.”

Francois hopes to expand from 30 stores to 50 in the future. It looks like he’s well on his way, and with this awesome move, he probably won’t have to hire a marketing team, either.
