NFL legend Cris Carter thinks the Jacksonville Jaguars need to sign disgraced quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
“Swallow your pride, pick up the phone and call Colin Kaepernick … I believe he can make a difference on the football team,” Carter said Monday morning on his FS1 show “Undisputed” when discussing the possibility of the Jaguars signing the former 49ers quarterback. Here’s a quick look at my reaction to this “free advice” from the legendary receiver.
Has Blake Bortles been very rocky at times this year? Yes, he’s been far from perfect, and he was atrocious this past weekend. However, that doesn’t mean the Jags should run off to sign the most polarizing athlete in the past decade. It doesn’t mean that at all.
Kaepernick has been out of football for multiple seasons at this point, and there’s nothing to suggest he still has enough juice in the tank to win games.
Besides, isn’t he too busy right now trying to sell products for Nike?

Also, I’m pretty sure your average fan in Jacksonville, Florida, isn’t a huge fan of Kaep. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it.
Here’s some better free advice for Jacksonville. Completely ignore what Carter said and pretend it never happened. That is lightyears better. No need to write me a check for saving you from major embarrassment. I consider it my civic duty.
