The Browns abruptly fired head coach Hue Jackson, along with offensive coordinator Todd Haley, on Monday. The decision came following Cleveland’s blowout loss to the Steelers, 33-18. Jackson led the Browns to a 3-36-1 record during his time with the franchise.
Baker made headlines last week after he publicly disagreed with Jackson about the future of the team’s success (and how to get there) during a post game press conference.
#Browns QB Baker Mayfield on Hue’s postgame comments: “I think a lot of things are said postgame, emotionally. I think the thing around here is, we don’t need to re-invent the wheel. We need to perfect our craft. We have what we have, we don’t need to change too much.”
